Logo Revisions

These are my current revisions. The place has been removed and a runway has been incorporated to give some hint of airport, maybe. The plane was too obvious of a mark, plus it complicated the simple lines, so I sent it flying.

In this set, I trimmed a lot of fat and started playing around with color. I thought it would look nice to keep the colors simple yet functional. Blue for water, green for corn rows, gray for buildings and of course yellow for bridges.

These are my initial logo explorations. I wanted to incorporate some characteristics of our city, Omaha, Nebraska, before adding any type or color. Unfortunately, I got carried away with the detail, plus I have a bad habit of working at 200%, so I needed to simplify them. They may work as a billboard art, but not as a logo, which must be viewable at any size.

Air Fair

When we first kicked off this project, I knew it was going to be a big undertaking. Anyone who has ever been to an airport can tell you that they are basically made up of signs and symbols. They are necessary for the hustle and bustle of everyday airport functions, and without them mass confusion would ensue. Ubiquitous as they may be, they do require some level of thought. Since beginning this project I have researched many an airport to see what make them tick. In doing so I have learned more then I care to know, but I think it will be a rewarding experience.

Saved by the bell... pepper!

I don't know about you, but when I look at a bell pepper I think "par-tay"! These festive little guys are just fabulous in fajitas and add a little color to any boring dish.

Lame

This design is completely lame. I'm ashamed of it, but will hang it on the fridge none the less.
Note: Redesigns are on the way.

This design was fun to work on. I wanted it to be simple and clean, yet have some organic flavor to it.
Note: That's what she said.
